Subject: Eligibility of Permanently Disabled Son of a CGHS Beneficiary to avail CGHS facility.

In terms of the Office Memorandum of even number dated 07.05.2018, unmarried permanently disabled and financially dependent sons of CGHS beneficiary suffering 40% or more of one or more disabilities as specified in the O.M. will continue to avail CGHS facility even after attaining the age of 25 years. However, the son above the age of 25 years, in cases where disability has occurred after attaining the age of 25 years, is at present not considered as dependent for availing medical facilities under CGHS as per extant policy.

2. The matter has been engaging the attention of this Ministry for quite some past. It has now been decided that such son(s) above 25 years, in cases where the disability has occurred after attaining the age of 25 years can be considered as dependent for availing medical facilities under CGHS, subject to fulfillment of all other conditions as mentioned in the O.M. dated 07.05.2018.

3. This issues with the approval of Competent Authority.

CGHS - Permission for Investigations/Treatment Procedures

CGHS

No Permission is required for getting listed Investigations/ Treatment Procedures done at the CGHS empanelled Diagnostic Centres/Hospitals, if prescribed by CGHS Medical Officer/ CMO Incharge or Government Hospital specialist.

Listed Investigations/Treatment Procedures prescribed by a specialist of empanelled hospital need to be endorsed by the referring CGHS Medical Officer/ CMO Incharge, however permission is not required in this case also.

For unlisted Investigations/Treatment Procedures permission is required from the AD of the City/Zone in case of pensioners and Head of Department/Office in case of serving employees. However for pensioners of Autonomous bodies the permission is to be given by the concerned department only.

Procedure for getting the investigations done by an empanelled Diagnostic centre/Hospital
The following documents are required to be submitted:
1. Self attested copy of prescription of CGHS Doctor / Government specialist
2. Copy of CGHS Card of the patient and main card holder.
3. Original Prescription and Original Cards are to be produced at the centre for verification.
Investigation can be done within 14 days of the advice only.
Procedure for getting for any treatment procedure done at an empanelled hospital
The following documents are required:
1. Self attested copy of prescription of CGHS Doctor / Government specialist
2. Copy of CGHS Card of the patient and main card holder.
3. Original Prescription and Original Cards are to be produced at the centre for verification.
Treatment procedures can be done within 3 months of the advice only.

2. CGHS rates were revised for all cities except Mumbai in 2014.

3. CGHS has vide its OM S-11011/222017/CGHS-HEC dt 03 Apr 2017 revised the rate of Mumbai from 2010 to Delhi 2014 rates as an interim measure.

4. Regional Centre ECHS Mumbai would disseminate the new rates to empanelled hospitals, diagnostic laboratories and imaging centres, SEMO's Stn HQr's & ECHS polyclinics.

5. The provedures and CGHS package rates of Delhi shall hereafter be treated as ECHS package rates for hospitals, diagnostic laboratories & imaging centres under Regional centre ECHS Mumbai and the rates would be applicable from the date of issue of this letter.

Subject: Revision of CGHS package rates for empanelled hospitals, diagnostic laboratories and imaging centres under CGHS, Mumbai

with reference to the above mentioned subject attention is drawn to the Office Memoranda Nos.S.11011/23/2009-CGHS D-II/Hospital Cell dt. 15.11.2010 and S.11011/23/2009-CGHS D-II/Hospital Cell (Part-I) dt. 11.04.2011 vide which CGHS package rates have been prescribed for empanelled hospitals, diagnostic laboratories and imaging centres under CGHS, Mumbai and to state that it has now been decided by competent authority to revise the CGHS package for empanelled HCOs under CGHS, Mumbai as per 2014 CGHS rates of Delhi as an interim measure, till further orders.

A list of the procedures and package rates of CGHS Delhi, which shall hereafter be treated as CGHS package rates for hospitals, diagnostic laboratories and imaging centres empanelled under CGHS, Mumbai is enclosed.

2. CGHS has revised the rates for various treatment procedures vide their OM No S-11011/48/2014-CGHS (HEC) dt 18 Feb 2015. The rates of under mentioned treatment procedures alongwith their CGHS code are as under:-

2. Reimbursement to beneficiaries/ empanelled hospitals shall be limited to ceiling rate or as per actuals, whichever is lower. The other terms and conditions as regards to CGHS package rates remain unchanged.

3. The revised rates shall come into force for ECHS from the date of issue and shall be in force till further orders and are applicable in all cities.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Fresh empanelment of private Health Care Organizations (HCOs) and revision of package rates applicable under CGHS Delhi & NCR.

The undersigned is directed to state that CGHS had initiated action for fresh empanelment of private HCOs under CGHS Delhi and NCR and also for the revision of package rates to be paid to HCOs, by floating tender for the same. On the basis of the arrived at and have been uploaded on the website of CGHS. www.mohfw.nic.in/cghsnew/index.asp and can be downloaded from there. Similarly, a copy the agreement containing the terms and conditions of empanelment has also been uploaded on the above quoted website of CGHS.

2. The approved list of the hospitals for empanelment under CGHS Delhi and NCR as per the terms and conditions empanelment and MOA signed between CGHS and HCOs is enclosed her with.

3. The revised rates and terms and conditions as mentioned above will come into effect from 1st October, 2014. The empanelment shall be for a period of two years from date of issuance of this order. The HCOs already on the panel of CGHS which do not find their name sin annexed list of empanelled HCOs are allowed to continue on CGHS panel till 15th October, 2014 at old CGHS rates to facilitate the patients who are already admitted / permitted, to continue with thier treatment course.

4. This issues with the concurrence of Internal Finance Division in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare vide FTS. No.AS & FA/62678/2014 dated the 19th August, 2014.

5. A copy of this Office Memorandum along with a list of empanelled HCOs, rate list and agreement are placed on the internet at http://mohfw.nic.in/cghsnew/index.asp.

Latest list of CGHS Hospitals & Revised Package Rates effective from 1.10.2014

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare published the detailed list of new Hospitals, Eye, Dental and Diagnostic Centres under Central Government Health Scheme. The fresh empanelment of private Health Care Orgnizations (HCOs) and revision of package rates applicable under CGHS Delhi and NCR.

The Directorate of General of Central Government Health Scheme issued an office memorandum, which states the revised rates and terms & conditions will come into effect from 1st October 2014. The new empanelment shall be for a period of two years from 1.10.2014.

In Delhi 54 Hospitals, 72 Exclusive Eye Centres, 50 Diagnostic Centres, 32 Exclusive Dental Clinics.
In Faridabad 5 Hospitals, 1 Exclusive Eye Centres, 1 Diagnostic Centres.

In Gurgaon 9 Hospitals, 5 Exclusive Eye Centres, 3 Diagnostic Centres, 6 Exclusive Dental Clinics.
In Ghaziabad 9 Hospitals, 2 Exclusive Eye Centres, 3 Exclusive Dental Clinics.

In Noida 10 Hospitals, 3 Exclusive Eye Centres, 2 Exclusive Dental Clinics.
