CG Pensioners are very much agitated for delay in granting parity between pre-2016 and post- 2016 pensioners as per the recommendation of 7th CPC. Due to implementation of this, maximum benefit accrues to those pensioners who had retired under 4th CPC regime because their pensions are very low due to lower pay scales at that time. Further all these beneficiaries are past 80 years and their life expectancy is very short. At least on compassionate grounds the GOI should concede their demands and implement the parity between past and present pensioners. The Pensioners' Organisations also should highlight the special circumstances to the Prime Minister,Who is the final arbiter.
