CGHS: Cost of CD records of Coronary Angiography and Coronary Angioplasty in CGHS package rates

CGHS: Cost of CD records of Coronary Angiography and Coronary Angioplasty in CGHS package rates
The below information was givne as written reply to a question by the Minister of Health and Family Welfare Shri.Ghulam Nabi Azad in Parliament on 22nd March, 2013. 
 
Cardio Hospitals on CGHS Panel
 
There was no specific mention about inclusion of the cost of CD records of Coronary Angiography and Coronary Angioplasty in the CGHS package rates for the above procedures. 
 
The matter has since been clarified vide Office Memorandum No. S-11045/ 13/2013/ HEC/CGHS(P) dated 04.03.2013 that the package rates for Coronary Angiography and Coronary Angioplasty also include the cost of CD record and the medical report for the procedures performed.
